Hourly Rate Calculator

Calculating your hourly rate can be tricky but with our super
easy to use calculator we've made it simple. There are three main variables
when calculating hourly rate which are; annual salary, weeks paid vacation
per year and of course the number of hours you are required to work per week.
As you will see below there are two rate results, one of which is the gross
number doesn't take into consideration vacation time and the net which
does. There are different forms of
remuneration (pay) between however understanding your rate broken down into $
per hour is the easiest way to standardize and compare. Change the light blue

Your annual salary earned over the course of a 1 year period

Weeks Vacation Per Year:



Number of weeks paid vacation/holiday per year. This varies
between contracts and countries.

Hours Worked Per Week:



Your contract will tell you your weekly hours per week. This
is typically 37.5 or 40



Hours Worked Per Year:



This will automatically calculate. The formula is (hours per
week * (52  weeks of vacation)). Eg. (40 * (524) = 1,920



Per Week:


Gross (not vacation adjusted):



This is the ammount you earn per week without taking into
consideration vacation time.

Net (vacation adjusted):



This is the adjusted ammount taking into account the number of
hours you actually worked and your rate.



Per Hour:

This is the ammount you earn per hour without taking into
consideration vacation time.

Net (vacation adjusted):



This is the adjusted ammount taking into account the number of
hours you actually worked and your rate.
